LG G8 render leaks shows it features 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port

Leaked renders of LG G8 has been making their rounds on the internet. But the design of the alleged LG G8 ThinQ has failed to impress with its large top notch, accommodating, rumors suggest, a dual front camera setup while retaining a design that has not been changed much.

Be that as it may, flagship, currently codenamed ‘Alpha’ with chances of donning the name LG G8. If LG continues with its trend of naming, shall be posited as a smartphone “for everyone else” which is steering clear of fancy foldable screens, sliders, or similar gimmicks. And the leaked images of the render have sufficient reason to prompt people to choose LG G8 over the LG V40 ThinQ that was launched last year.

Coming to details regarding its camera, the device, as has already been mentioned, may sport a dual front camera setup, like the LG V40. But on the rear, it shall have a horizontally aligned dual camera setup as opposed to LG V40 ThinQ’s triple camera setup. Furthermore, the rear camera setup has been equipped with two sensors, like its predecessor, the LG G7, but lacks a laser auto-focus sensor. They do, however, have an LED flash.

The flagship has dimensions of 152 x 72 x 8.4mm, and sports an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a 6.1-inch display, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a type-C USB port. Reporting sites collaborating for the renders have said that the device has been equipped with “sound on display.” As it stands now, the handset may be powered by SnapDragon 855, although further information may only be revealed this February when the phone is scheduled to be announced at MWC, 2019.
