Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 9 PureView may make its debut at MWC 2019

A fresh leak reveals the press renders and leaked video of the Nokia 9 PureView handset which is speculated to go official at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 tech expo that will be held in Barcelona, Spain at the end of February.

Along with the Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia is also working towards a mid-range Nokia 6.2 smartphone, and latest reports suggest that both of these smartphones will be unveiled by the company during the MWC 2019.

HMD CPO Juho Sarvikas had published on Twitter a teaser for a big Nokia MWC 2019 launch event with a throwback video of MWC 2018, when Nokia 8110 4G, Nokia 1, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco were launched. Nokia 9 PureView may be the significant candidate along with Nokia 6.2 and one or two more low-end smartphones. One can also expect someone or more new feature phones and maybe re-birth of an iconic old feature phone.

Nokia 6.2 reveals some of the alleged specs for the phone which includes the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 16MP dual rear-camera setup with Zeiss, and OZO Audio. It has also been pegged for a late January or early February launch, so there is a chance it could be announced alongside the Nokia 9 PureView.

Besides, Nokia 9 PureView is rumored to pack a 5.9-inch or a 6-inch QHD+ display and house a Snapdragon 845 chipset aided by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. It is to be powered by a 4,150mAh battery under the hood and run the latest Android 9 Pie OS. As per leaks the Nokia 9 could flaunt a Penta-lens camera system with ZEISS branding, including two additional cutouts, featuring an LED flash and a proximity sensor.
