Nokia 8.1 and 5.1 Plus find their ways in homeland, Finland starting January 14

Two new Nokia smartphone models will be available for sale in Finland on 14 January. Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 5.1 Plus advance sales start today. The Nokia 8.1 expected Price in Finland is EUR 399, which is a fairly competitive price compared to the features of the phone. The recommended price for Nokia 5.1 Plus is 199 euros.

Nokia 8.1 was announced internationally in early December at China, the same phone was launched in mid-October under the X7 model name. According to the company, the Nokia 8.1 is the successor of the internationally award-winning Nokia 7 Plus smartphone, which is well-known in the marketplace, with improved performance and functionality. Smartphone design has also been upgraded to make it more elegant by utilizing the beautiful contrast created by the combination of curved glass and polished metal.

Nokia-phone company Global HMD perceive the new 8.1 Nokia’s successor to the Nokia 7 Plus, but also for Nokia 8, and sales of both are slowly running out to make way for new models. The Nokia 7.1, which was launched in early November, is technically different from the new Nokia 8.1, with a slightly larger screen, higher-level cameras, and a more efficient system circuit and a higher-capacity battery. Common to Nokia 7.1 and Nokia 8.1 is their display support for HDR playback, i.e. the colors of a wider dynamic range. With HDR support, HMD Global also markets Nokia 8.1 display as PureDisplay.
