iPhone and Apple Watch owners will soon be able to use Apple Pay at all Target locations across the US. Apple announced the partnership today, along with a number of other retailers that will begin to support the mobile payment system in the coming weeks.
Consumers have been able to use Apple Pay for some time at Target’s website, but it hasn’t been accepted at most brick-and-mortar stores. According to Apple Insider, the service has been in testing at retail stores since last November. Now, all 1,850 Target locations across the US will add support for Apple Pay, Apple said this morning. Target did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
