2 months back in November last year, Xiaomi launched its Mi TV 4 65-inch 4K HDR LED model and now, it appears that Xiaomi is all set to introduce its next-generation of Mi TVs very soon. The upcoming Xiaomi Mi TV 5 series models have been spotted on 3C certification’s website. The two variants will come under the model number L65M5-5A and L65M5-5S.
The certification on the website does not inform us much regarding the specifications of the upcoming Mi TVs. However, the two models named as the Xiaomi Mi TV 5A, and Mi TV 5S is expected to launch soon in the market, and we’ll wait until the leaks.
On another note, the company has recently dropped the price of some of the Mi TVs after the India Government reduced the GST on TVs from 28 percent to 18 percent. The price cut applies to Mi LED Smart TV 4A 32-inch, Mi LED TV 4C Pro 32-inch, and Mi LED TV 4A Pro.
Starting today, you will get the Mi LED Smart TV 4A 32-inch at Rs 12,499, down from the original price of Rs 13,999. The Mi LED TV 4C Pro 32-inch, on the other hand, has received a price cut of Rs 2,000, which brings the TV’s price down to Rs 13,999 from Rs 15,999.
Buyers can easily avail the new discounted prices through Xiaomi Mi Homes, Mi.com and official Xiaomi stores across India. Commenting on the price cut, Xiaomi said, “Happy new year!”
