Nokia 2.2 launched in India with 5.71-inch HD+ screen starting from Rs. 6,999

Nokia has just renewed its range of entry with the 2.2, a fairly inexpensive device with a more than the generous screen, a compact design, and contained specifications (with some other interesting addition) for basic use.

Striking, as is the custom of the house, of Android One, the Nokia 2.2 comes to conquer those users who look for the basics in a phone, and who seek to spend less money buying a new phone.

HMD has just officially made it’s Nokia 2.2, its most recent proposal for the Android entry range. As for its design, it is made of plastic, with the peculiarity that Nokia allows us to change the covers (it has called this method Xpress-On). As a detail in your body, we have a dedicated button for Google Assistant, something to be grateful for in mobile of such a restrained price.

The device has an LCD panel of 5.71 inches, with slightly curved glass, 2.5. The resolution of it is HD+, which is expected in this price range. The front use of the panel is 79%, a figure that is not bad considering the range in which the device is framed. The maximum brightness is 400 nits, enough to display the terminal in full sunlight.

As for muscle, Qualcomm has left aside and is committed to the Helio A22 processor, a proposal of 12nm also known as MediaTek MT6761 and whose maximum frequency is 2.0 GHz. The GPU for this set is the PowerVR GE8320.

The configurations of memory are of a range of entrance, the reason why we are before 2 or 3 GB of RAM memory, and 16 or 32 GB of internal memory. The battery, on paper, is somewhat fair, with a 3000mAh battery.

The photographic section is also quite modest, and far from the triple (and even sextuple) cameras that other models of the company bet on. The Nokia 2.2 complies with the main sensor of 13 megapixels and f / 2.2 aperture for its rear camera and another 5-megapixel sensor with aperture f / 2.2 for its selfie section.

At the software level, we find Android One and Android Pie 9.0, without surprises. In the same way, we have facial recognition technology, as well as the help of artificial intelligence when we go to take our photographs. In the section of connectivity could not miss the 4G, Dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.2 or GPS + GLONASS connection. It retains a micro USB port, nothing of type C.

The Nokia 2.2 will come in two colors, steel and black tungsten (we have to remember that we can expand its color range by changing its casings) and start at a price of Rs. 6,999 in its most economical version.
