The launch of Dead or Alive 6 pushed to 1st March

Gamers who have been substituting their excitement for blood and bruises invoked by Team Ninja’s Dead or Alive series with toned down substitutes of the game like Street Fighter 5 or Super Smash Bros Ultimate were elated to hear news of the game’s sixth installment slated for release on 15th February. But the latest news suggests that the release of Dead or Alive 6 has been pushed by two weeks, and so its fans shall have to continue waiting with bated breath till 1st March 2019.

The delay seems to be a creative decision, expected to provide its developers with more time to add some final polish and make adjustments to the game.

Yohei Shimbori, producer and director, Dead or Alive 6, has recently stated the following in a press release, “The title’s development is already near complete; however, we would like to take more time to further polish its balance, gameplay, and expressivity. In return for your patience, we commit to bringing you the best Dead or Alive gaming experience. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the release delay of Dead or Alive 6.”

Due to the fact of Dead or Alive 6 having been recently rated by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), prior to its launch in North America, its release may be ascertained (in case the delay led some fans into thinking that the launch may be canceled altogether). And in the meanwhile, one may always be on the lookout for new trailers revealing some more new and interesting characters who might make their appearance in the sixth installment.
